Trump nominated new chief executive for banking regulation
Washington – US President Donald Trump has stamped the Fed for the first time with a staff. Randal Quarles was to be responsible for banking regulation in the future, the White House said. Quarles is a former employee of the Treasury in George W. Bush’s government and is currently working for a Salt Lake City affiliate. He is to follow Daniel Tarullo, an advocate of a strict banking regulation, which had resigned in April.
